Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four children, was born on August 8, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. Her parents, a dentist and a teacher recognised and supported her love of theatre and drama as early as she was a child. This superseded an initial desire to become a primatologist thanks to her fascination with monkeys. Early success and a rapid rise in fame was a sign of her development as an actor. When she graduated in 1998, her studies, she was able to be a part of Jeunes Premiers, a French show on TV that is a talent-scouting initiative, which is which was run by Canal+. There she won the award for Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. This led her to pursue a professional acting career. Tautou was born into a Catholic home, and was a member of the church, even though she was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris.
